2008-06-18 - Mokasirs Coffee Shop: next opening in Melbourne
In spring last year a project for a franchising chain of coffee shops bearing the Mokasirs brand was launched. The project outlines the almost opening of the first coffee shops amongst the skyscrapers of the second largest Australian city. The city of Melbourne, in fact, will witness in November the opening of the first coffee shop sponsored by the Pavia-based coffee roasting company, right in the centre of the city’s business district. Our Australian partners have been trained in Italy with a lengthy in-house training course and attended the ‘9bar' school for professional bartenders (www.9bar.it), acquiring deep knowledge about the preparation of espresso and cappuccino according to the traditional Italian technique. The Mokasirs concept of coffee shop for the Australian market also includes an ice-cream area, whilst the development is based 100% on coffee.  The project, designed by architect Massimo Curzi, will be characterized by the level of professionalism and knowledge of the bartenders, who will be attentive to quality and continuously searching for the latest updates in a rapidly growing and evolving market.

2008-06-13 - Venditalia 2008 – Milan
On May our company took part in the 6th Venditalia trade fair, the largest expo of automatic distributors, which took place in the Fieramilanocity Expo district from the 21st to the 24th of May. Being one of the leading companies in the event, Mokasirs introduced an important and original restyling of its range of products targeted towards the high-end vending channel: single and double pods, single-origin blends and the take-away kit (click here to visit the product section). Specifically, the ‘Mokasirs Solution’ coffee pods project was presented, an entire range of portioned products designed for low-consumption Ho.re.ca sales points. The company’s booth was designed by architect Massimo Curzi, the designer of the new coffee shop concept to be implemented at the end of summer in both Melbourne and Athens. The participation in Venditalia confirms the importance attached by the company to the channel of vending machines, a sector which sees millions of users every day. Moka Sir’s wishes to thank all visitors and collaborators for the interest they have shown and for the excellent work carried out during the expo.
